Technical Lead and System Architect at a technology consulting company. (Fulltime)

· Technical lead and architect of a complete Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system developed for National Registered Agents, Inc., the 3rd largest U.S. Registered Agent services company. Managing a team of 5 internal developers, contractors and offshore resource in China. Created detailed project plans, performing cost and resource analysis and estimates.

· Developed data-driven templates to generate standardized code, eliminating repetitive tasks, and saving an estimated 10% of development time. Provided templates to the .NET community resulting in more than a thousand downloads by outside developers.

· Guiding the technical direction of the company through regular meetings with the CTO and Director of Commercial Development.

· Member of a multi-company team developing a smartcard based electronic health record system for the Center for Disease Control and the Government of Zambia to combat HIV/AIDS.

ICO, Inc. (Houston, TX) Oct 2001 – Sep 2003

· Architected and led development of an in-house, browser-based custom ERP solution for ICO’s 21 locations on 4 continents, replacing 8 separate business systems.

· Worked directly with the CEO as well as domestic and international plant managers to set new common business practices and standards. Assessed requirements and client expectations in plants in New Zealand, across Europe and the US.

· Integrated with the company’s accounting system, the system provided a standard interface for managing all aspects of the business: inventory, production, shipping & receiving, purchase orders & invoicing; while providing management with real-time information.
